E-Learning Management Training Courses

At the Academy of Business Strategy we use e-learning management training courses to involve prospective clients or employers in case studies. By employing e-commerce, e-learning and e-consulting methodologies the Academy of Business Strategy is a 21st-Century provider of consultant and e-learning management training courses.

E-Learning For Consultancy

Many clients or employers recognize that the personal and intellectual qualities achieved by attaining ABS qualifications are powerful evidence in favour of appointment or increased earnings. The key is to involve prospective clients or employers in the case studies that are undertaken by using e-learning solutions. This ensures that they have a greater level of understanding, ownership and commitment to the processes that are being developed and implemented and to the recognition of what each Academy qualification actually represents.

We also involve clients and employers independently by directly communicating with them in relation to feedback, verification and constructive criticism.

The result of this e-learning approach is an interactive learning experience and commitment from key clients or employers in relation to the long-term value of ABS Postgraduate qualifications.

Not only do they demonstrate academic and practical skills, but they also demonstrate the additional attributes of time management, commitment, enthusiasm and ambition from the experience of distance learning.

E-Learning Student Profile

Students considering enrolling on an ABS Postgraduate Certificate programme, should have achieved a recognized degree in any subject and have achieved relevant business experience in relation to the chosen programme.

In the absence of relevant business experience, a business related degree will be required. In the absence of any degree, candidates will be considered if considerable and specific experience is apparent.

Students considering enrolling on an ABS Postgraduate Diploma programme, should have achieved the corresponding ABS Postgraduate Certificate.

All ABS Postgraduate training programme information guides feature a self-assessment guide. This will enable you to accurately assess your own suitability for the e-learning training programme that you are interested in, but you would also learn more from going through our detailed application process, which incorporates two interviews and self-assessment forms.

In all cases candidates for distance learning are assessed on individual merits and so if you are in any doubt about your suitability it is advisable to ask for guidance or assistance.

E-Learning Assessment

In all ABS Postgraduate training programmes, academic and practical performance is measured by continuous assessment though project work and case studies, rather than by written examinations. Through e-learning and distance learning techniques continuous assessment measures your performance in assignments throughout the programme.

In all cases assessment is based upon the quality of e-learning course work and associated feedback from clients and employers. Qualification needs to represent success with practical integration as well as with academic understanding and interpretation.

Academy qualification grades are as follows:

A mark of 90 per cent = PASS WITH DISTINCTION.
A mark of 75 per cent = PASS WITH MERIT.
A mark of less than 75 per cent = FAIL.

If you do fail at the first attempt to achieve a mark of 75 per cent or more, you can have one more attempt to re-take any of the course work if you so wish, without incurring any additional cost.

E-Learning Project Studies

Case studies with the Academy of Business Strategy are known as project studies. This is because they are real assignments in all cases.

There are no case studies which are purely theoretical, as students need to demonstrate practical integration as well as an understanding of academic theory. For example, project studies with the Postgraduate Certificate in Finance (CFS) would feature proactive operating procedures, which need to be implemented within real business organizations.

Similarly, project studies with the Postgraduate Certified Professional Consultant (CPC) would feature the development and implementation of tangible consulting services and associated business development. As a consequence, success is measured by achievement, not merely by demonstrating understanding.

It also means that the case studies are much more enjoyable and interactive and it is much easier to maintain high levels of motivation and commitment. However, students do tend to agonize more as well because the case studies actually mean something. There are real choices and decisions that need to be made.
